VAT relief allows you to buy qualifying visual communication aids at 0% VAT for personal or home use.

Can I claim for my child?

You can claim if the visual aid is for a child or individual with a long-term condition or disability that affects their everyday life or communication.

You do not need to receive disability benefits (like DLA or PIP) to qualify.

What do I need to do?

HMRC does not require medical certificates or proof. Under government guidance, you simply complete the short written declaration below with the user's name and condition (such as Autism, Speech Delay, etc.).   

Not claiming?

If you are buying for general use or without a qualifying condition, simply leave the switch turned off.

Child-Safe & Non-Toxic Materials

Our visual tags are crafted using plant-based, non-toxic PolyLite PLA filament. They are EN 71-3 toy-safety tested, RoHS and REACH compliant, and free from BPA, making them completely safe for daily tactile handling by children in school, therapy, and home environments.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Designed for busy classrooms and frequent handling, our tags are easy to keep clean and hygienic. Simply wash them down using warm soap and water or antibacterial wipes. (Please avoid exposure to extreme heat, boiling water, or dishwashers to maintain their structural integrity).

Shipping & Production Lead Times

  • Standard Range: Dispatched within 2–3 working days via Royal Mail.

  • Custom Orders: Digital design proof sent for approval within 7–10 working days (production begins immediately once approved).

  • School & Bulk Orders: Lead times vary by order size. Need them by a specific term date or event? Email tom@sentalktags.co.uk for priority dispatch.
